Since we first set up our email anti-spam service we have found that our spam filters trap on average 99.9% of all your email spam.

The intelligent learning methods we use predict if an email is in fact spam, the longer the system is used, the more accurate it gets. This is more difficult than you think because one person's Spam may be another person's Ham!

Currently all mail with a Spam Score of 6.0 is marked as spam; we are now confident that any mail with a Spam Score of 12.0 or higher is definitely spam with very little chance of false positives. In the interest of saving you time sorting through your mail, all items with a Spam Score of 12.0 or greater will now be deleted. This will be a positive step to assist our customers who use dialup or Blackberries to access their mail remotely.

This still means that you will receive mail tagged as ***SPAM*** but it will be mail with a Spam Score greater than 6.0 and less than 12.0 and should be significantly less to deal with. Mail found to orginate from known spammers listed in DNS Blacklists will still be considered 100% Spam and deleted automatically.

All our hosting accounts receive this improved anti-spam service upgrade for free!
